Beautiful house in a beautiful location, the kitchen was well equipped and Stephen made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed picking blackberries in the lane (resulted in an excellent blackberry pie!) and had a wonderful walk to Corfe Castle as well as venturing further afield. The cottage felt wonderfully secluded while at the same time being in easy distance of all the local sights.

Stephen was great! We had some issues with the lock when checking in but he responded really promptly even though it was 10pm. The location was excellent, there’s a lovely tea room and farm a 5 minute walk from the house. The house itself was very comfortable.

The little cottage is quite charming, set in a small hamlet. The landscape is beautiful, and the house is bigger than it looked from the pictures. It had everything we needed and fit the four of us well.
The isn’t much to do in the immediate vicinity, aside from a few a few hikes or the tea room. Wareham is the closest town, about 10 mins by car, and has multiple restaurants and groceries.
We stayed here for Tank Fest at the Bovington Tank Museum, and it was the perfect choice for us.
I would definitely recommend the Little Cottage to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

The owner was very responsive and proactive. Lovely fairytale cottage in Arcadian surroundings. Owner has left plenty of books and board games for lazy, rainy days. Lots of hiking around for less lazy days. Good breakfast at the local tea shop and great food and beer at the New Inn nearby.

Absolutely delightful little cottage. Beautiful surroundingd and Stephen had suggested places to eat in Wareham and walks which included walks suitable for my elderly parents. We managed a few walks suggested and ate a great lunch in Wareham.
The downstairs double bedroom was perfect for my parents and having 2 bathrooms was great as we were 5 adults and it didn't feel crowded. We also loved that there was no TV to distract us and we enjoyed sitting in the little dining room conversing after breakfast/evening snacks and sitting in the cosy living room reading. The library was great as I'd forgotten my book so chose a book to start reading and will download it when I get home to finish it.
We all enjoyed the peace and quiet and seeing some local wildlife as well as the local farm animals.
Great to sit outside in the morning with a hot coffee; plenty of fresh air.
Thank you, Stephen for your perfect Little Cottage.

An astonishingly charming little cottage. Very homely inside, with a lovely little garden. We visited in the spring and enjoyed seeing all the bluebells and daffodils around. The wider village is very peaceful and almost idyllic, yet has a tearoom and is in any case only a short drive away from Corfe Castle. Overall, an exceptionally good base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck and wider Dorset.

We returned to East Creech for another cosy January stay. The cottage was well located for visits to friends in Swanage and a trip the Etches Collection in Kimmeridge to see the fossils.
Stephen’s local recommendations were appreciated and we enjoyed our fish and chips from Chipperies in Wareham.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and location on the hillside! Lovely walks and amazing scenery. Sika deer on the field next door every morning, and views of Poole Harbour and wider Purbeck coastline. Short drives to towns such as Swanage and Wareham, and a few minutes drive from Lulworth, Tyneham, etc. 10/10 cannot recommend enough!!

Lovely spot close to Corfe castle and Arne bird reserve. Great place for my 90 year old mum to stay with all amenities at ground level for her. The cottage is beautiful and rooms are lovely to sit in. incredible surroundings and easy to find great places to eat, walk and birdwatch.

Loved my stay at the Little Cottage! It was a quiet getaway, off the beaten track so away from crowds of tourists but a very short drive to sights like Corfe Castle and Lulworth. The cottage itself is rustic and homey and was perfect for a cozy day in with a book when we weren’t out and about. The kitchen had everything we needed and the internet was great for both a work video call and streaming a film in the evening. Will definitely visit again.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Little Cottage. The location was perfect as a base for walking and enjoying the natural delights that Purbeck has to offer. The views from the top of the ridge across the countryside and to the sea are stunning!
The information from the host was accurate and the wifi at the cottage was fast, which helped us plan our days. The original features of the cottage shine through, especially the beams and woodwork in the upstairs bedroom. It's clear that their family have really loved this place and it feels very homely, there's a little library of books to borrow.
The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the meals we had planned and we took advantage of the local fish and chip shop in Wareham at Stephen’s suggestion.
